I realize fully that I didn't really love him at all; I loved my own perception of him. One can only learn from their mistakes and I've learned enough to hopefully not make the same mistake twice. :)
Oh man.....I've said the same thing to myself many a times. I learned the hard way that if we don't learn what is meant to be learned from a mistake that we've made, that we'll definitely go through the same crap again. I hope that doesn't happen to you. Stay strong!!
